Phek district NCSU submitted a representation to commissioner vigilance, Nagaland to set up ‘fact finding committee’ against the anomalies of construction work at D.C. complex Phek District IN June 2011.
In this regard, NCSU president Kuzhoseyi and general secretary Khruzo, Phek in a release expressed its appreciation to the vigilance department for taking up corrective measures as requested and has assured its support towards the department.
NCSU also appreciated the present contractor of DC complex, Vezoto (Jack) Cl-1 for speeding up the construction work and has urged him to complete the same at the earliest so that the long felt need of the public would turn into reality.
Also, NCSU urged the contractor in-charge of electrification, water supply and sanitation to produce quality workmanship and to use superior materials especially for electrification and has reminded that NCSU would not tolerate “any work done just for the sake of it, and will not co-operate in any matter whatsoever”.
Highlighting on the road condition leading from Phek to Chozuba which has been in pitiable condition couple of months back, NCSU has lauded the then SDO (civil) Razouvolie Dozo and DC Nikhashe Sema for bringing road connectivity back.
NCSU has also appreciated the efforts and concern made by executive engineer P.W.D. for providing three numbers of JCB escavator for clearance of road from Chozuba till Phek on account of Shisha Hoho to be hosted by Ketsapo Village in the early part of December
Time after time, public and different forums/NGOs have raised their concern over Phek to Chozuba road to the department in charge and contractors to provide black topping which has been neglected, stated NCSU. The union has urged the competent authority to probe the matter and deliver justice at the earliest.
