Benreului Nkwa, Kohima (BNK) has expressed shock over the brutal “shooting” and “killing” of its member, Angaube Zeliang on December 20 in front of his residence at Forest Colony, Kohima by unknown miscreant(s).
BNK president, Iluheing Nsarangbe and general secretary Ahiobe Kulim in a press statement said that Angaube was an innocent citizen, employed in forest department and was not associated with any of the factions.
Condemning the “dastardly act”, BNK has demanded to know the reason behind the killing. BNK has also appealed to the administration to identify and nab the culprit(s) and award appropriate action as per the law of the land. It also demanded adequate compensation to the family.
