Garo organizations comprising of Nagaland Garo Tribal Council, Garo Students’ Union, Nagaland Zone, All India Garo Union, Nagaland regional unit and Garo Mothers’ Assocaition, Nagaland have jointly condemned the brutal murder of a Nepali woman Sundari Khatun by her husband Abdul Salim Ali on January 4 at paramedical colony, Kohima.
The organizations have also condemned the rape and murder of Meena Rai on November 2 last at Medziphema followed by rape of an innocent four year old child and also the abduction and rape of 12 year old girl at Naginimora under Mon district.
The organizations have appealed to the law enforcing agency to award befitting punishment to the culprits.
