Dimapur Gorkha Union (DGU) disbursed cash sent by Bimal Gurung, president, Gorkha Janamukti Morcha (GJM), and chief executive of the Gorkhaland Territorial Administration (GTA) through Suk Bahadur Rai, North East Coordinator, Central Committee of the GJM in presence of officials of the Medziphema unit of the Dimapur Gorkha Union, Gorkha Union Naginimora (GUN) and Gorkha Student’s Union Dimapur (GSUD) on January 14.
Financial aid– Rs. 15,000 each was handed over to Kunal Thapa, father of the 12-year old, a class VI student, rape victim of Naginimora, who was brutally abducted and raped on January 1 and to Robin Rai, son of late Meena Rai, who was raped and brutally murdered on November 2 at Medziphema.
