The 17th general session of the Amahator Range Students’ Union (ARSU) was held at Amahator village from January 4- 6 under the theme “Towards infinity.”
ARSU new office bearers for the tenure 2013-2016 was elected and would be led by Albert as president, Hotingchum as vice president, Athrongba as general secretary, and Sejungmong as assistant general secretary, Yangtsathri and Lipitong as executive secretary respectively.
The session was marked by various sports and cultural events. Meanwhile, the union has extended gratitude to C. Kipili Sangtam MLA and Chairman NSMDC, Tsasepi Retd. PO DRDA, Pongsela LDA PWD (R&B), Longtiba EAC Phek, Lithrongpi President Amahator Area Union Kiphire Town, Tsathrise President NPF 59 A/C, Pilongba 1st Class Contractor, Kiritong ADC DMA (SSA), Horiba Vice President Amahator Area Kiphire Town, Lisepi Asst. Professor ZPGC, Lipongse Accountant DMA/SSA, Apise Amahator Village, Chotsathrong Amahator village, Sepikyu Amahator village, Rothrongkyu Former President ARSU, Tsalichem Vice President KASSU, Chemlise Keor Village, for their financial support and active participation especially to the host village for tireless contribution and co-operation towards ARSU in making the session a successful and remarkable.
