VDB association Chizami block has appealed to the government of Nagaland to release funds to NREGA job card holders.
According to Wekhrope Nganu, VDB secretary Enhulumi and Muzakha Wozah, VDB secretary Sumi, the job card holders applying for the work cannot be implemented because the work order allotted to the worker in the financial year 2012-2013 had stopped releasing the fund for many months, and the project taken up by the village authorities under NREGA has stopped half way due to non-release of fund.
