Ekranipathar village resolves

Ekranipathar Village Council (EVC) in a meeting on January 23 deliberated on various election related issues.

The council decided that no political party would be allowed to encourage youth for any kind of disturbances in the village jurisdiction and that no outsider should be allowed to enter the village jurisdiction during the polling day.

EVC chairman, N. Meren Yaden and general secretary, Gokul Bardewa stated that the council members would strictly observe the matter and appropriate action will be taken if anyone was found guilty.

For a free and fair election it also resolved that the council members shall assist the polling officials on the polling day.
