Pungro Town Students’ Union (PTSU) was formed on January 25 in the presence of Yimchunger Akherü Arihako(YAA), Pungro Town Adhoc Committee(PTAC), and G.B’s.
The house unanimously elected Somule Yimchunger as president, Akiuba Shong Yim vice-president, Pusukhong Jongs Yim as general secretary, Longtsuthong as joint secretary and Yotsutsumong as treasurer.
The union further resolved to take active participation in social, cultural and political aspects on democratic lines for the welfare of students and society at large.
