Late Prakash paira laid to rest

Hundreds of people paid homage to Founder-Director of Little Star Higher Secondary School (LSHSS), Dimapur, Prakash Paira, son of late Gobinda Paira who passed away April 5 at Apollo Hospital New Delhi, after a prolonged illness, Sunday at Little Star HSS premises Midland Colony, Dimapur.
Speaking on behalf of Gideons and Auxiliaries Internationals in India, Dimapur, Dr. Sukhato Sema termed late Paira as a man of word who has walked in the light of the living God.
He also described late Paira as a “silent worker”, a man who had for seen God’s abundant blessings in whatever he did.
Describing late Prakash Paira as “a man of dignity, God fearing and hardworking”, Rev Z.K Rochill, said late Paira who was associated with the BSI resigned on December 8, 2012, due to ill health and appreciated him for being a God fearing man.
Speaking on behalf of All Nagaland Private Schools Association (ANPSA), Aheto Sema, said that on Paira’s demise, the people have lost a true and sincere educationist and further added that the good deed rendered by late Prakash Paira would be cherished and forever remembered. Editor, Nagaland Post, Geoffrey Yaden, a long time friend of late Paira, termed Paira as a man of, few words, a man of integrity with a generous heart who loved God and was always ever ready to take up his responsibilities.
He also said that late Paira was a good steward of time for which God was willing to keep him moving at the same time added that Dimapur has lost a “shining star” for which he urged the students to keep the star shining bright.
Others who also spoke included representatives from Kachari Tribal Council (KTC), S.K Khemprai, Nagaland Kachari Christian Organization (NIKCO), while short tributes were also paid to late Paira by relatives and family members.
The funeral service was conducted by Angami Christian Revival Church, evangelist, Zhau Sanchu while Rev. N. Paphino, pastor, Angami Christian Revival Church (ACRC), Dimapur, conducted the funeral service.
Invocation was said by Robin Mech, pastor, KBC, while a special song was presented by ACRC, Dimapur. 
Late Prakash Paira was 63 and leaves behind his wife Nini, three sons, one daughter and two grandchildren.
