Newly constructed GMS Tekhuzie, Nerhema was inaugurated April 12 with New and Renewable Energy Director Er. T.S Angami as chief guest.
In his speech, Er. T.S. Angami lauded the village for their sincerity and hard work in constructing a quality school building, stated a press release issued by VEC secretary Kekhriesetou Ziephr?.
The chief guest reminded the students that success was achieved only through planning, hard work and most of all faith in God.
Er. T. S. Angami also requested the village to host the teachers especially those not from the same village with kindness and cooperative heart.
He concluded by enlightening the mass about renewal energy and its importance in the present era where conventional energy sources were drying out.
SDEO Chiephobozou, M. Korse and SIS Neiketou Kiewhou also attended the programme. In his short speech, M. Krose emphasized on the importance of the role played by the village, elders, teachers and parents in molding the career of students. He lauded the concern shown by the villagers for the school.
