Creative writing workshop on ‘Poetry’ was conducted by senior English language fellow US state department, Kolkata, Joseph Dwaileebe on April 30 and May 1.
The workshop was conducted for final year degree literarians at St. Joseph’s College, Jakhama.
The workshop dwelt on illustrative poetry based on images and words, with exercise on imagination and creativity.
Altogether, 86 students attended the workshop. Joseph Dwaileebe, the resource person also conducted a workshop on ‘The Communicative ESL Classroom’ on May 2 and 3, for English teachers of various colleges in Nagaland, at St. Joseph’s College, Jakhama.
Participants included English teachers from Fazil Ali College, Mokokchung, Tetso College, Dimapur, Kros College, Modern College, and, Japfu Christian College.
