The first batch of cadets of Sainik School Punglwa, Nagaland notched up a brilliant performance in the CBSE Class XII examinations results which was declared on May 28.
All the 43 cadets who appeared the CBSE class XII examination passed, with 8 cadets getting distinction, 28 first division and 13 second division.
The school topper was cadet Manna Deb 88% followed by cadet L T Duthrupu and cadet Sani Albert Sapriina 86% and 85% respectively.
Cadet Manna Deb topped in Mathematics and Physics scoring 92% & 88% respectively. Cadet Keyileurangbe Thou scored the highest in English 94%, while cadet L T Duthrupu scored the highest in Biology 87% and cadet Sani Albert Sapriina scored the highest in Chemistry with 91%.
Col R Alagarraj, Principal, said that the impressive results was a manifestation of the unique intelligence-oriented teaching methodology and complimented the entire school staff for the same.
