Commemorating ‘World Blood Donor’s Day’, a painting competition was organized by Dimapur District Voluntary Blood Donors Association (DDVBDA) and Model Blood Bank, district AIDS prevention and Control Unit, Dimapur, on June 11 on the theme “Give the gift of life: Donate Blood”.
According to a press release issued by the association’s president, Jayanta Dey, the result of the painting competition would be declared on June 14 during the celebration of “World Blood Donor’s Day” at Chapel Hall, District Hospital Dimapur, which will start at 10 a.m.
Citation would be awarded to all the participants and participating schools and colleges apart from cash prizes of Rs.5000, Rs.3000 and Rs.2000 to the three winners respectively.
