A joint executive consultative meeting of Zeliang Peoples Organization (ZPO), Zeme Council and Liangmai Council (LC) was held on June 15 at town hall Peren.
The meeting was chaired by Hairongbe and Kinkeuriulung as the sessional chairman and secretary of the meeting.
The house discussed matters relating to the election of ZPO (N), and after thorough deliberation, it unanimously agreed to the decision made by Zeme Council and Liangmai Council on June 7.
The house also reaffirmed and decided to elect “mandatory organization” (ZPO) office bearers for the tenure of 2013-2016 on June 21 at Zeliangrong Baudi Hall Jalukie Town.
The house decided to include the following members as election commission to conduct the election of ZPO (N) on June 21 as per the resolution adopted during the combined and joined meeting of the Zeme and Liangmai Council (N) – Iting, Kengim, and Azui.
Chairmen of every Zeme and Liangmai villages and towns under Peren district (N) whether recognized or unrecognized have been notified to attend the election without fail on June 21.
