In view of the non- release of grant by NACO, government of India, towards NACO supported targeted intervention drop in centers, Integrated Development Society (IDS) Tuensang, has closed down its office on Tuesday.
Briefing media person, IDS director, James Chang said people who have been working tirelessly to prevent HIV and AIDS and providing basic treatments were severely affected owing to non-materialization of NACO’s commitment.
He also informed that, they would be compelled to stage for further course of agitation, if their demands were not fulfilled.
IDS Tuensang further appealed to the higher authority for immediate intervention and to release the grant at the earliest.
