Two highly decomposed bodies of a male and a female were recovered Thursday morning at around 11.30 a.m.
The bodies were recovered somewhere between Ungma and Kubza village by district police personnel. The deceased were identified as one Robin Shankar (60) and his 20 year old daughter Chitu Mani, from Assam, residing in Ungma village.
The bodies have been handed over to their relatives after observing all the formalities. A case has been registered under Mokokchung PS-II and investigation was on to ascertain the causes and factors leading to the deaths.
