Ebenezer Welfare Society (EWS), Dimapur organized an awareness programme on HIV and AIDS with Imlinaro of Prodigal’s Home, Dimapur as resource person at Tuli town for teenagers and unemployed youths on the “A Day of Hope.”
In a press release, EWS Dimapur chairman T.Amri said “as we evaluate today’s generation, it reveals an alarming scenario that the average of indulging intoxicated things and sexual relationship is increasing day by day.”
Topics covered at the programme included pre test introductory and epidemiology, basics of HIV and AIDS, stigma and discrimination, advantage of early diagnosis of HIV.
Amri acknowledged all the contributors, well wishers, voluntary helpers who came forward towards the success of the programme. The programme was attended by churches, institutions, all ward committee members, Watsu and CYE.
