SP (India) to organize nation-wide agitation

Socialist Party (India) would be organizing a nation-wide agitation ‘defeat capitalism bring socialism’ October 8 to create public opinion against capitalism.

The party would be organizing ‘dharna’ (demonstration) and protest marches against capitalist economic policies.

The decision to call for the agitation was taken during a two-day national executive meeting of socialist party held in Delhi August 10-11.

According to a release by socialist party (India) working president, the agitation special programme would be organized to establish people’s faith in secularism a value to enshrine with constitutions.

During the meeting it was further decided that the party would contest the ensuing Lok Sabha election.

It was also decided the national vice-president and veteran socialist leader Akhei Achumi would be the in-charge North Eastern State for ensuing Lok Sabha election to make electoral alliance with likeminded political parties.
