Wildlife enthusiasts donated slow loris to Nagaland Zoological Park (NZP), Rangapahar Wednesday, which was received by staffs of the Zoological Park.
Slow loris was rescued from Zunheboto by two friends — Lanu Akum of Akhoya village, a junior engineer under PHED Zunheboto, and Achi Lkr of Longjang village, a Havildar under wireless department, Zunheboto.
The two had sent slow loris from Zunheboto to Dimapur by bus, which was the collected by Shilu who brought the animal to the Zoological Park.
According to ZNP officer-in-charge, the animal was examined and found to be dehydrated and a little weak, therefore was being kept in temporary rescue centre under observation.
