Department of school education has assured that the salaries of the teachers appointed under SSA would be paid as soon as the fund installment was released by the union ministry of Human Resources Development.
According to a DIPR Report, the School Education department in a press release dated September 5 also said that teachers under SSA had been paid up to June 2013 only since the release from the government of India was received up to that month only.
