ADC & ERO Kohima has informed all concerned that schedule for the Summary Revision of Electoral Rolls with reference to January 1, 2014 as qualifying date has been received from the Election Commission of India.
In order to hold special campaigns October 12 and 26, all political parties have been informed to appoint one BLA per polling station in prescribed ‘Form ID-BLA-2’ to be produced to BLO on campaign dates.
The constituency’s consolidated list in plain paper should be submitted to office of ADC & ERO Kohima beforehand and get briefing on the functions of BLA.
The services of Booth Level Officers (BLOs) engaged during the recently concluded Pre-Revision Activities in the month of July-August 2013 would also be performing duties in the forthcoming Summary Revision of E/Rolls. Necessary briefing/trainings will be imparted in the later part of September 2013.
