SSA appointees (PT/GT&HT) under SDEO Noklak along with ANTSA officials of Noklak sub-unit met September 13 at Noklak to discuss release of pending salaries.
In a press release, SSA teachers, Noklak president K. Langshen said at the meeting, the aggrieved teachers refuted the press statement issued by the department of school education which was published on September 7 wherein it stated that teachers appointed under SSA were paid upto June 2013; but in reality they were paid only upto May 2013.
He said aggrieved teachers demanded immediate release of their pending salaries (June, July &August) within September in full, failing which they would resort to take its own course of action.
