The 2013 IYF world camp in Nagaland, hosted by IYF Nagaland and North-East Zone Culture Centre was successfully conducted from September 28 to October 1 at town hall.
More than 200 participants from Korea, Mexico, Arunachal Pradesh and Nagaland participated in the camp
The purpose of this camp was to develop the hearts of students’ to have firm faith in God, that they can lead and guide their family, society, state and country having the right, humble and sacrificial mindset of Jesus Christ.
Chief guest lecturer Rev. Sang Duk Han, IYF Director of Ulsan City S. Korea exhorted and planted the word of God into the young hearts gathered there, sharing the love and forgiveness that God showed towards the people through Jesus Christ.
Guest lecturers Hekali Zhimomi, Director of Census Department and Gugs Chishi, Project Director, Music Task Force also exhorted and motivated the participants with the words of wisdom and through their experience.
Rio Montana, a famous Korean gospel band won the heart of the participants with their songs.
The melodious voices of the Nagaland Conservatory of Music (NCM) and Hope Centre for Excellence also received tremendous applause from the students.
Righteous stars, an International College Dance team, Shaolin Kungfu brothers (one of the oldest martial arts in Nagaland), cultural troupes from Assam and Meghalaya left a deep impression and admiration in the hearts of the participants.
Various activities and academy was held like Korean and Spanish language, dance and vocal, Shaolin Kungfu, mini- Olympics & sight- seeing (exposure), etc., made the students learn and exchange the spirit of union and cohesion.
The most successful and rewarding in this camp was that many students could understand and received salvation through faith and being freed from the bondage of sin and darkness through the blood of Jesus Christ.
