Chumukedima Circle Villages (CCV under the aegis of Chakhroma Public Organization (CPO) requested the state government to shift Dimapur district headquarters from the present complex to the new location in Chumukedima as early as possible in the interest of the public.
In a press release, CCV president Runavilhour and general secretary Vito Kera said the decision was taken after a meeting held on October 24.
He said the state government after much effort had spent huge amount of money for the construction and development of infrastructure at the new DC office complex at Chumukedima which was on the verge of completion.
