NPF central youth wing has termed the statement made by DDCC president Kughato S Aye against minister of road and bridges for showing indifference to the road improvement at Dimapur as “politically immature and childish”.

A press release issued by Janbemo Humtsoe member secretary NPF media cell stated that when DAN III was formed only this year and the newly assigned minister was giving his best service to improve the road condition in Nagaland, particularly in Dimapur, it was undesirable for DDCC to a give “politically immature statements by asking absurd demands to assassinate the good image of the minister”.

The youth wing said, DDCC’s demand purely highlights the “complete darkness and ignorance of its functioning”.

While terming DDCC’s demand to hand over the road and bridge department to NGO’s, village councils and wards as “ good sense of humor and ultra-virus”, the youth wing described DDCC as national political party platform which was “quick to know but weak to understand”.

Therefore the youth wing said it was advisable to thorough the constitutional functioning and its procedures.

The youth wing further stated that DDCC should not “confuse” villagers, NGO’s and general public by giving “unconstitutional knowledge and information” in regard to the powers and functions of the village councils and NGO’s.

Youth wing further stated that instead of resorting to “blame game by counting the number of foreign tours and the chief guest consented by the minister, DDCC should re-dedicate themselves and work whole-heartedly to retrieve the lost prestige of the opposition leader status in the Nagaland Legislative Assembly”.
