A Medical team led by chief medical officer Phek, Dr. Kevichusa Medikhrü along with deputy CMO, Dr. Ritu Thurr; district programme officer (NVBDCP) Phek, Dr. Neisakho Kere; DPO (RCH & UIP), Dr. Thienuhezo; district programme manager (NRHM) Keneingutuo and DCM Phek, Azenuo Mere inspected and monitored the health facilities and performance of the health units under Meluri and Pfutsero blocks from October 22 to 26.
Altogether the team visited 11 health units.
According to a DIPR report, the team during its visits checked the reporting and recording system of the health units and also checked the display of IEC (information education communication) such as citizen charter, performance chart, hoardings and posters on different health messages.
The medical team also assessed the existing infrastructure and manpower for affective health care services.
