Nagaland chief secretary Alemtemshi Jamir graced the Golden Jubilee celebration of Khiamniungan Students Union (KSU) as chief guest at Noklak town December 19.
Addressing the gathering, Alemtemshi Jamir encouraged the students to dedicate themselves towards reforming and restructuring the society.
He said that the need of forward thinking with good vision and action is the present need of the society. State chief secretary stated that marking the 50 years anniversary of the student body’s existence should be meaningful. He also challenged the students to bring freedom in economic health and livelihood in the community through quality education.
During the programme, he released the KSU souvenir and also contributed Rs.1.5 lakh towards the students’ fund, stated a DIPR report.
