DNSU acknowledges DMC-EA’s decision

Dimapur Naga Students’ Union (DNSU) has acknowledged the decision of Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC) Employees Association (EA) to suspend its current agitation and resume work for the larger interest of the general public.
In a press release, DNSU general secretary Kambuiga Rongmei said without the efforts of DMC staff especially sanitary department, Dimapur Town could not have a clean look during this festive season.
DNSU also acknowledged the district administration for organizing a night bazaar in the heart of the town in commemorating 50 years of statehood. Keeping in concern for the interest of the general public during the festive seasons, the union also urged the district administration and law enforcing agency to depute adequate security for public safety and to avoid unwanted situation in and around the town and all the pockets of Dimapur to check anti-social elements.
