Second year teacher trainees of St. Paul institute of Education, Phesama went to a study tour to Delhi, Agra and Jaipur.
The ten days tour started with the Delhi visit. The places included Qutub Minar, Red Fort, Humayun Tomb, National Science Center, National Museum, Lotus Temple, Raj Ghat, Nehru Museum, Indira Gandhi Museum, Gandhi Smrti, Railway Museum, and places of religious significance. It gave them an opportunity to enter both the houses of the parliament i.e., Rajya Sabha and Loka Sabha.
Though the houses were adjourned still had the chance to witness two minutes of proceedings.
The visit to Rastrapati Bhavan was a memorable one especially the structure and its internal beauty. The ever attractive Taj Mahal never disappointed the trainees. The trip to Agra and Jaipur enhanced their knowledge on history.
The tour was organized with educative value in mind.
