Naga National Council (NNC) Non-Accordist (NA) has cautioned all rank and file, both civil and army wing, not to indulge in any kind of taxation in the name of NNC (NA) without the knowledge and authorization of chaplee department. In a press release, NNC (NA) finance secretary Kihoto Chophi informed that the order was being issued due to rampant collection of contribution and donation by individual, which has been viewed as “multiple taxation.”
Further, NNC (NA) has directed the government departments, private establishments, companies, business enterprises etc. not to entertain such kind of taxation unless proper authorization/assignment order was produced to the responsible authority. Meanwhile, the chaplee department of NNC (NA) has informed the responsible to contact 8014590502, 8014512353, 8575336322 and 8575723254 for information.
