ANSTA Tsg on non-payment of salary to SSA teachers

All Nagaland School Teachers’ Association (ANSTA) Tuensang has appealed to the principal director school education to release the pending salary of the teachers appointed under SSA.  ANSTA Tuensang unit, president Yangthan Yim in a letter addressed to principal director stated that the salary of those teachers appointed under SSA scheme had not been released for the last three months. The current academic session started from January 21 as per government order, but how can the teachers report to their posting places when they have not received their salary, ANSTA stated.  It further stated that the teachers were appointed under SSA plan, and that it was a matter of shame on the part of government for not having proper fund for the same.  Taking all this into account, ANSTA Tuensang Unit has appealed to the higher authority to the needful action and release the salary of the teachers at the earliest.
