When it comes to posing in pants, few celebrities are more ell equipped for the job than David Beckham.
And the sportsman’s latest underwear campaign for H&M is sexier than ever, with David positively smouldering for the camera.
The 38-year-old is seen posing in a variety of smalls for the high-street store, showing off his buff physique in the process.
Smiles aren’t on the radar, as Becks breaks out his now trademark frown while staring intently down the camera lens.
As well as the former footballer’s muscles being on show, David also displays his vast arrays of tattoos as he poses in his undies.
Along with trunks, David is also seen wearing long-sleeved tops and pyjama bottoms from his new Bodywear Collection – which goes on sale in store and online from January 30. An industrial style location provides the setting for the shoot, with David grasping onto various pipes and ladders to further enhance his masculinity.
In addition to the stills, David also stars in a new campaign to launch the collection, shot by Drive director Nicolas Winding Refn.
Speaking about the campaign, David said: ‘It was so exciting to work with one of my favourite directors, Nicolas Winding Refn, on my new campaign for H&M. Nicolas pushed me hard to create an action-packed film, which shows off this season’s new heritage-inspired bodywear at its best.’
The advert will see David on a rooftop in just his underwear, after being locked out during a photoshoot. He then has to find a way to get himself to safety – performing all his own stuns and action sequences in the process.
Nicolas added: ‘I loved working with David for his new campaign. He is a natural in front of the camera and was fearless when performing his own stunts.
‘The campaign is funny, smart and spectacular, and shows the many different sides of David’s personality.’
