National Rural drinking water & sanitation awareness week would be launched February 20, 9 a.m. at Capital Convention Centre, Kohima by minister for PHED, Noke Wangnao as chief guest.
The awareness week would be launched in view of low awareness in villages across India on issues pertaining to rural drinking water, water security and water conservation.
It has been decided by the ministry of drinking water and sanitation to launch this awareness week across all states of India.
