One person identified as Lato (29) son of late Ningshi of Zagure village under Kiphire and presently residing at Chumukedima ward VI was caught “red handed” by the residents of the ward while stealing. According to OC Diphupar K Angami, the accused was handed over to Diphupar police personnel on Sunday wee hours. Reportedly the accused stole one hen, one aluminum bucket and one aluminum pot from the premises of one of the ward resident. An FIR has been lodged at Diphupar police station and case was yet to be registered.
