Team of officials from directorate health and family welfare, Kohima monitored various health units of Pfutsero block, Meluri, Phek and Chozuba block March 13 to15.
During the tour, the team discussed various issues with health staffs, checked the general condition of health units, maintenance of records/registers, service availability, equipments etc. The programme team comprised of Dr. N.M Kithan additional director, Dr. Johnsweyievisa joint director and SPO (RCH) Dr. K.T. Lotha joint director& state TB officer, Dr. Poktikokla TB HIV coordinator and Thejotalu RCH coordinator accompanied by Dr. Ritu Thurr deputy chief medical officer Phek, Dr. DTO Phek and Phek health staff.
Later, the team met deputy commissioner Phek C.M. Tsanglo and chairman health society and apprised him about health scenario of the district.
