Various organizations have lauded the Naga Political Groups (NPGs) – NSCN (I-M), GPRN/NSCN and NNC/FGN for signing of the “Lenten Agreement.”
NMA: Naga Mothers’ Association (NMA) while expressing satisfaction with the signing of the agreement hoped that the initiative of FNR would translate into action towards Naga reconciliation. NMA president Abei-u Meru  and secretary Lochumbeni Humtsoe acknowledged the tireless effort of FNR and said encouraged all the signatories of the agreement to honour and respect the commitment.
CSCFM: Concerned Senior Citizens’ Forum, Mokokchung (CSCFM) has welcomed the signing of the agreement and said it was yet another step towards “our most desired aspiration, the Naga Political Solution with India”.  Under the initiative of the FNR, Naga groups have pledged to undertake the journey of common hope. While endorsing the commitment to bury the differences and fight for the Naga rights, CSCFM said Nagas were “baffled” by the Naga public reconciliation meet on February 29, 2012 where “some of the Naga leaders had clearly shown their ulterior motives against the interest of the Nagas and against the commitment they have made for our Nation.” CSCFM said Naga people could not fooled for all the time in the  name of ceasefire and that “loyalty, support and prayer” could not be just wasted in the name of declarations and reconciliations unless it was “a genuine one”.  CSCFM called upon Naga organizations, churches and good citizens to partake in the unity and reconciliation move.
BJYM: Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha Nagaland Unit has lauded the three NPGs for signing the “Lenten agreement.” BJYM while acknowledging the agreement appealed the NPGs to unite under the aegis of FNR. The morcha hoped that NPGs would “escort” ahead the Naga societies for better future.
BAN: Business Association of Nagas (BAN) has also lauded the NPGs for their decisions to reconcile. Terming the signing of “Lenten Agreement” as a landmark step toward the Naga aspiration for a shared future and a comprehensive strategy for achieving a common goal, BAN extolled the initiatives of FNR and lauded the NPGs for listening to the voice of the masses. In a statement, BAN chairman Thungbemo Murry and general secretary Dr. Khekugha Murru said the solution to the protracted Naga issue could only be achieved when Nagas become one.
BAN said these positive developments have lifted spirits of the business community and the general public and hoped it would usher in a new era of community stability and economic development.
