Tumchobeni T. Mozhui Contestant No. 9 emerged as the winner of the Von-Jen’s “Voice of Wokha” second season 2014. After a tough battle, Tumchobeni was selected as the winner from the six finalists. The grand finale was held at Don Bosco Youth Centre on April 22. She walked away with a cash of Rs. 20,000 and acoustic guitar, certificate and original sound recording.
Martin V. Humtsoe and Emmia N.A Erui finished as first and second runners-up respectively. They also received cash awards of Rs.10,000 ,woofer, certificate and Rs 7,000, DVD player, certificate and original sound recording respectively. Three consolation prizes – cash award of Rs. 1000 each, headphone and certificate were awarded. Earlier, in the first audition held on March 15 at Likya Community Hall, 15 aspiring contestants turned up for the audition.
