One day training on piggery held at Ghatashi town

With an aim to refine and capacities the skills of the farmers,  one day training on piggery was held on April 30 at Ghatashi town under Pughoboto sub division organized by Kushe humanity foundation for farmers.
Resource person of the programme, confederation secretary Naga farmers Union Kohima spoke on the topic “rearing of pigs and its maintenance and computing a balance diet for pigs” and stressed on the need to utilize local materials available and not to be dependent on outside products.
He encouraged the farmers to go into large scale farming, being an enthusiast farmer himself he also shared his years of experience on piggery.                                                           Later, the training concluded with distribution of seeds for cultivation of pig feeds. Altogether 30 trainees attended the training sponsored through local area development fund.
