NNP+ 12th foundation day

Network of Naga People Living with HIV&AIDS (NNP+), which was founded by seven positive members in 2002, observed its 12th Foundation Day at its secretariat, Kohima May 13.
NNP+ having its decentralised District Level Networks, covering nine districts in the state, currently runs Vihaan Programme and TI Project supported by Alliance India under GFATM Round IV and NSACS respectively.
Beside NNP+ also gets supports from various churches, departments as well as well wishers and has a total strength of 4713 members from all over the state. Speaking on behalf of the pioneers at the programme, co-founding member Lanu Aier shared on the struggles faced by the members in early days. He stated that formation  of NNP+ was one of the biggest challenges for them. He appreciated the current members led by its president and project staffs for tireless efforts and making the organisation one of the largest growing community-based organization in the state.
Denish Prasad, from Alliance India Delhi also spoke on the occasion and appreciated the efforts of all who were part of NNP+.
Program manager (Vihaan Programme) NNP+, Bendang Jamir also expressed gratitude to the early members who have worked tirelessly. He exhorted the members and staffs to carry on the selfless services for the welfare of the community.
