KHSS Mon felicitates successful students

Konjong Higher Secondary School (KHSS), Mon May 26 last organized a felicitation programme to honour Phamnya Konyak, who was awarded IGNITE 2013, the national competition for students’ technological ideas and innovations. Presently studying in Class 10, Phamnya is the first student from Nagaland to be so awarded, stated a press release issued by KHSS Mon principal Nyamto Wangsha.
The school also felicitated those students who scored distinction in the HSLC and HSSLC examinations, 2014. All the parents of the awardees and teaching staffs of KHSS were appreciated for moulding the children up to the level of achieving National award.
On behalf of the parents, Ngamching Konyak, father of Honjong Konyak, a special student of KHSS, who has passed out HSLC examinations successfully, appreciated the principal and all the teaching staffs of the school for moulding children with special needs.
DC Mon, Angau I. Thou, who was the chief guest, stressed on the importance of determination and discipline in achieving results. She also appreciated the principal and teaching staffs for bringing good name to Naga community particularly the Mon district. Presidents of KU, KNSK and KSU spoke at the felicitation ceremony. KBBB executive secretary Chemyuh delivered vote of thanks and highlighted the role of the school in the students’ success. The programme concluded with benediction by Rev. Hunlong, Principal, Mon Theological College.
