16 Contestants from Dimapur and Kohima have booked their places for the elimination round of the first Guitar Prodigy Contest, The Dimapur Auditions was held on June 9 at Upstairs, Dimapur with Tiasunep (A-ROAD) and Among Jinger (MELODRAMA) as the Judges while for the Kohima auditions which was held on June 11 at LCS conclave hall by LINEAGE with Satem (DGP BAND) / Moatoshi (DGP BAND) / Lipok (DIATRIBE) as judges. The list of the selected contestant is as follows: Dimapur- Sulanthung Odyuo, Mejalepzuk, Lulantsi, B. Temsuyabang, Kuzhohusa, Okoliba Ozukum, Amos P. Ovung and Waluniba Lemtur.
Kohima-Honglep Sangle, Kevisa Vivose, Zito Nyekha, Veshehu Chuzo, Arielie Angami, Luntsu Yimchunger, Susa Sami and Keviphruotsu Dzuvichu.
