Chancel Choir Mokokchung performs at 2nd International Convention in Chennai

With an objective to promote and preserve Indian Art and Culture, a weeklong 2nd International convention organised by the Spac Macky at IIT, Chennai was held from June 8-14 wherein the Mokokchung Chancel Choir representing North East India in their 90 minutes performance enchanted the audience. The unique blend of Music comprising of Ao – Naga folk songs, folk fusions, a touch of Indian tunes and varieties of Choral music which were finely choreographed were highly appreciated. The audience had a great moment experiencing a new taste of music. Some commented that it was indeed a moment that has to be cherished for a life time.
The famed Chancel Choir Mokokchung conveyed the perfect message to the World about the rich and exotic cultural heritage of the Nagas getting a standing ovation in the stated event.
