SSS-1 promotional event rounds up; grand finale on Tuluni

The “Sumi Singing Star” season one (SSS-1) promotional tour show concert cum music ministry across the several districts had rounded up July 3 at the 111 BSF Cinema Hall Satakha Town.
The evening show was hosted by the Satakha Town Sumi Baptist Church (Aizuto). The seven finalists of the maiden SSS-1 Ilokali Zhimo, Vilivi K Awomi, Lino K Awomi, Boloto H Achumi, Akashe Sumi and Unice G Sumi each presented two songs.
Hundreds of Satakha town citizens both young and old thronged the 111 BSF Cinema Hall to see their favourite stars perform live on stage.
Impressed by the energetic and power packed performances the Commandant/Commanding Officer (CO) and ranks of the 111 BSF presented each finalists with cash and gift hampers. Earlier, the show hosted by Kikhetoli Catherine Rotokha began with Pastor Anato Chishi STBC (Aizuto) who said the invocation followed by the introduction, felicitation and presentation. Miss Sumi (Ahuna) Atheli Zhimomi also presented a keynote address and greetings.
It may be noted that the Sumi Singing Star Season-1, 2014 is being organised by Immanuel Music Academy Zunheboto with the School of Music and Art, Purana Bazaar Dimapur as co organiser; the Pheto Music Association Dimapur and the “push energy drinks” as the co-sponsors.
The SSS-I winner will be awarded cash prize along with one year free music course at the Immanuel Music Academy Zunheboto; all the finalists will be offered a free promotional recording contract from the Pheto Music Association Dimapur. The grand finale has been scheduled on Tulini fest evening at the Town Hall Zunheboto.
