Land resources department (LRD) Tuensang organized veterinary camp from August 13 to 16 covering five villages including Ekhao, Nokyan B, Longkhitpeh, Kejok and Leangkonger of Pathso, Noklak, Longkhim, Sangsangnyu and Shamatore block. Addressing the villagers at different camps, district project officer (DPO) Nribemo Patton spoke on the importance of an alternative livelihood activity such as livestock. He said Tuensang offers great opportunity for cattle rearing. Dr.Tangnio, Dr Toshisenla and Watershed Development Team (WDT) members conducted the camp. Meanwhile, trainings on SHGs, soil and moisture conservation measures were also conducted.
