As part of “Impact 5000 by 18” programme, entrepreneurship workshop was organized by YouthNet in partnership with department of youth resources and sport October 8 and 9 in Zunheboto to promote entrepreneurship.
The sessions covered topics such as good business habits and best practices in the areas of business planning, forecasting, budgeting, book keeping, customer service, target setting and others.
Resource persons of the programme included MBA’s Abokali Jimomi, Tomtsa chishi and Lezo Putsure, who were only facilitators to help entrepreneurs find their own solutions to problems by discussing amongst themselves and introspecting.
The workshop was designed in a way that it was activity-oriented with a lot of peer-learning and problem solving through group activities, simulations, and discussions.
The workshops travelled across nine districts with Mon and Longleng yet to complete.
Meanwhile, local entrepreneurs expressed gratitude to the youth resource department for reaching to the young entrepreneurs across all the different districts.
