A fire broke out inside a shop near at City Tower junction, next to Axis Bank building around midnight Sunday destroying some goods and materials.
The fire spread to another shop and caused some damage. Fire brigade personnel rushed to the spot on getting the news and doused the fire.
The actual extent of damage caused by the fire could not be immediately established till the filing of this report.
