Police nab 4 for robbing tourist

In connection with the November 25, 2014 robbery incident at Capital Hotel, Kohima, where a foreign national and others were allegedly robbed by some miscreants, the Kohima police Wednesday have arrested four persons and a criminal case registered against them.
In a press release, Kohima police PRO said the four arrested accused were managing staffs of the said hotel. They have been identified as one Rüvethito Rhakho, manager (25), son of Tsonuyi Rhakho; Kuvecho Chizo, asst. manager (27), son of Macho Chizo both of Chozuba village under Phek district; Sanjay Deb, waiter (25), son of late Sibu Deb of Dhansari village under Kari Anglong district, Assam and Hopeson Dovei, waiter (19), son of Tasounü of Keize village under Senapati district, Manipur.
According to police, all the four accused have been charged under section 379 IPC r/w under Section 14 of Foreigners Act 1946 for contravening the section 7 of foreigners Act i.e for not reporting the matters about the arrival of Foreigner in their hotel to the competent authority.
They would be produced before the Court of Kohima on November 27 for obtaining police remand and conducting thorough investigation, said PRO.
