Kyong Hoho (KH) Okying Wokha Wednesday said it did not recognize the formation of parallel tribal body in the name and style of “Lotha Hoho” on November 28 at LTC Hall Wokha Town. In a press release, Kyong Hoho general secretary Michael Yanthan and secretary Penathung Humtsoe further appealed all “the right thinking Lotha citizens” to safeguard and uphold the sanctity and integrity of the age old traditional body. It may be mentioned that a general body meeting of Lotha Hoho initiated by Kyong Students’ Union, Lotha Youth Hoho, Kyong Eloe Hoho and Wokha District Village Council Chairmen Association was held to solve the Kyong Hoho impasse and elect new office bearers (2014-2018) in Wokha Town.
