Dimapur Government College (DGC) administration, faculties, staffs and students bade farewell to dead of department education, T. Amenla Longkumer on December 6 at a solemn function organized by the Dimapur Government College Teachers Association (DGCTA) and the college authority at the college seminar hall. The programme was chaired by Dr. Maongsangba, speeches were given by L.T.Yepthomi, principal, Kuholi ChishI, vice principal, Louis Humtsoe and Khrieo Rutsa and a special song was rendered by Suzzana Yaden. It may be noted that T.Amenla Longkumer served in Nagaland College of teachers’ education for ten years after which she was transferred to Dimapur Government College (DGC) and served with dedication and commitment for twenty five years till superannuation on November 30.
