NSCN (I-M) UT rejects AR claim

NSCN (I-M) union territory (UT) has rejected Assam Rifles claim that one Nurjahan Hussein, who was apprehended with arms in general area of DC Court, Dimapur, was suspected to be NSCN (I-M).
In a press release, NSCN (I-M) UT secretary sought clarification from the Assam Rifles for labelling “an immigrant Bangladeshi” as member of NSCN and to immediately place before the public concrete proof and evidence. NSCN (I-M) UT alleged that AR has been violating ceasefire ground rules by raiding the residences of NSCN members and undue harassment meted out, which it described was “against the peace process between the Government of India and NSCN”.
